Asian Squishie Quilt UFO

 The Fabric above will be used for sashing or border or binding on the POF quilt. Then I going to use the blocks below for the back of the quilt so it will be 2 quilts in one.

 The block under the purple one in the lower right hand corner will be a pillow as it is bigger.

 all these blocks have a signature block with them which will go in the border or sashing.

 All these fabrics are also in the POF quilt that is why it will be the back of it.

 I really love the kimeo block above.

The Dresden plate block is going to be a pillow as the block is bigger than the others
Working on step 8 A&B and Step 9 A&B hoping to get them finished before I leave for my daughter's on the 5th.

Plenty of Fish Mystery Update

Step 5 & 6

 These are step 5 & 6 in the POF Mystery, I'm also half way done with Step 7 hope to get it finished today so I can cut out Step 8 and get that sewed before Step 9 comes out on the first of July. I also need to shop for the 3 yards of contrast fabric for the AfA Quilt A-long just not sure if I want to get it here or wait til I go to my Daughter's for vacation and see what they have there. Might be fun to get the fabric there since I'm not starting my AFA quilt til I get back from vacation.

Hubby brought me home lunch yesterday it was a yummy Big Mac and Dr. Pepper.

I have a lot of things to get done before I go like blood-work and meds filled, bills paid stuff like that. Plus, I still have to pack and update my Laptop while I'm here so don't have to do it at her house. I will still have internet but no sewing machine so going to bring my Cross Stitch projects and work on the RR and my group Crafts Delight SAL I'm like 4 months behind already. I'm so looking forward to going to see her for 2 weeks. Well best get back to sewing so I can get this stuff done.

It's My Birthday!

Isn't this yummy looking? Not my BDay cake but I love chocolate so couldn't resist the picture.:-)  I'm going to be having a quiet day at home sewing or watching movies or maybe even play some Balder's Gate 2 on play station. Hubby is going to make me It. Sausage with sauteed onions and green peppers. Then I'm going to have a banana split for dessert.
I had a really neat thing happen to me tonight I got to see an Owl outside my front door. It just sat there on top of our flag pole and looked at me for about 5 minutes while I was standing on the front porch. It was under the street light so I could clearly see it. Then when I turned my head it went poof and flew off . My Mom's favorite animal was an owl and I felt like she was telling me Happy Birthday even if not it was a gift and not something you get to see everyday.

POF Mystery Step 3B

 I got some of step 3B done and realized I didn't cut enough lights so have to go buy more before I can finish the step.

 This is one of 4 blocks I have to make for this wall hanging. I think with the fabric I picked out it is looking really good together. Hubby helped me with an idea to make sure the border fabric goes well to will show you when I get it finished :-)

Emma's Quilt Table Topper

Here is my version of Emma's Quilt and extra pattern from the POF mystery. I made a table topper out of 4 of the blocks and will use the fabric in the second picture for the backing. I'm thinking about donating it to my local hospital for the waiting area of the Women's Mammograms.

RA Flare

Mettler prize

 I haven't done much sewing because of an RA flare over the last week and the TS Andrea didn't help. But the picture above is a prize I got, my friend won but she isn't live in the USA so she couldn't get the prize and gave it to me. Can't wait to use the thread and stuff.

LQS Class purse front

 I made this purse/bag in a sewing class at my LQS and did the flower and bling at home. I also added a pocket to the inside and one to the back (below) but I made that one upside down...opps.

 The POF steps are still being slowly sewed together but I got the top to a wall hanging mini that was added to the steps. Then I embroidered some vines and birds on it. Still have to quilt and bind it. The backing is going to be the brown in it.

Well I'm starting to feel better and my hands don't hurt as much so hopefully can sew this weekend. I also joined the Santa Sack swap again this year so that will give me some things to make in the coming months. :-).
